Gaggia makes two very different kinds of machine. Its manual espresso machines, such as the Espresso Evolution and Espresso Deluxe, have a portafilter and steam wand and expect you to grind, dose and tamp. Its bean-to-cup automatics, such as the Brera and Anima, grind and brew for you. This guide compares four Gaggia models available on Amazon UK by machine type, heating, milk system and water tank. We could not include the Classic, Magenta or Cadorna because no current listings met our criteria. The Gaggia listings are short, so several fields are marked Not stated; we only use what the listing says. If you want control and a PID, start with the Evolution. If you want convenience, look at the Brera.
