The Sage Oracle Touch is for the household that wants café drinks at the touch of a screen and is willing to give it a large, heavy machine to get there. It automatically grinds, doses and tamps 22 g of coffee, and a dedicated steam boiler powers a self-cleaning wand, so espresso extraction and milk steaming can happen at the same time.

Our take
Touch screen menu
You select espresso, long black, latte, flat white or cappuccino on the touch screen. The machine then handles grinding, dosing and tamping with its precision conical burr grinder. That removes the most technical parts of making espresso while keeping the portafilter format.
Simultaneous extraction and steam
Sage says the Oracle Touch keeps water at the ideal temperature for both espresso extraction and steam. With a dedicated steam boiler, you do not need to wait for the machine to switch between brewing and steaming, which matters when making several milk drinks in a row.
For a household of four who each want a flat white at breakfast, that difference can save several minutes every morning compared with a single boiler machine that alternates between tasks.
Automatic, self-cleaning milk wand
The steam wand textures milk automatically into microfoam suitable for latte art and cleans itself afterwards. The listing does not give the range of milk temperature or texture settings.
Size, weight and power
This is the heaviest espresso machine in the group at 20.3 kg, and it draws 2400 watts. The water tank holds 2.5 litres. The dimensions shown on Amazon are clearly not the machine itself, so check Sage's figures. Plan a permanent spot near a socket, as it is not a machine to move about.
The 2400 watt rating is the highest of any machine here, reflecting the extra boiler, so check that the socket you plan to use is not shared with a kettle on the same adaptor.
Against the Oracle Jet and Barista Touch Impress
The Sage Oracle Jet also automates grinding, dosing and tamping with a 22 g dose and adds Auto Queue, using ThermoJet heating instead of a steam boiler. The Barista Touch Impress offers 14 presets and cold brew with hands-free milk, but less automation. The Oracle Touch is the one for steaming and brewing together.
Verdict
Buy the Sage Oracle Touch if you make several milk drinks back to back and want both a touch screen and full puck automation. If you prefer a lighter machine with Auto Queue, the Sage Oracle Jet is the alternative, and if presets and cold brew matter more than a steam boiler, the Sage Barista Touch Impress costs less space.
