Our take
The coffee jug and everyday drinks
De'Longhi calls this the decanter function, and it is the main reason to choose this model over a similar machine. For everyday use there is a large TFT colour display, given as 3.5 inches in the title, with a wide selection of one-click recipes. The exact number of drinks is not stated in the listing.
App control is also listed, so drinks can be set up from a phone. User profiles are not mentioned.
For a household that only occasionally entertains, the jug feature may go unused for weeks, so weigh it against what else the money could buy in the range.
Grinder and brewing unit
The conical grinder has 13 levels and holds 200 g of beans, which gives reasonable room to adjust for different roasts. Ground coffee can be used as well. The compact brewing unit, which De'Longhi calls the infuser, can be fully removed so you can rinse it and clean inside the machine.
