The Siemens EQ500 (TQ518GB3, Dark Inox) is for homes and small offices where two people often want a cappuccino at the same moment. Its defining feature is oneTouch DoubleCup, which the listing says can make two milk specialities together, not just two espressos, and it backs that with automatic steam cleaning of the milk system after every drink.

Our take
DoubleCup and the drinks menu
The CoffeeSelect panel offers 10 programmes, and the spec table describes nine drink programmes plus milk foam. Named drinks include cappuccino, espresso, espresso macchiato, flat white and latte. The Home Connect app adds a further 8 beverage options, according to the specs.
Making two milk drinks at once is the practical point. Many machines can pour two black coffees together but make milk drinks one by one, which slows things down when visitors arrive.
Milk frothing and hygiene
An integrated milk container and frother foams the milk straight into the cup. Siemens says the fully automatic steam cleaning activates after every drink, which reduces the risk of milk drying inside the system and saves a daily manual clean. You will still want to wash the milk container itself regularly.
For an office, that automatic flush is arguably more valuable than any menu feature, because nobody has to take ownership of cleaning the milk circuit at the end of the day.
Display, tank and water
A full colour display with illuminated touch-sensitive keys handles selection. The water tank holds 1.9 litres, a water filter and hardness test strip are included, and the filter type is listed as Brita. There is also a ground coffee drawer for decaf or a different coffee.
The machine measures 44.8 cm deep, 31.8 cm wide and 37.3 cm high, weighs 9.1 kg and runs at 1500 watts. The listing makes no reference to saved profiles for different people.
Where it fits among office machines
The Siemens EQ700 with 10 favourites has a larger 2.4 litre tank and stored drinks, but the listing does not mention brewing two milk drinks together. The Beko CaffeExperto has a dual nozzle and 2 litre tank, but you froth milk yourself with its steam wand. The EQ500 suits the queue better than either.
Verdict
The Siemens EQ500 is the one to buy if you regularly make two milk drinks at once and want the milk system flushed automatically. If saved favourites for many users matter more, go for the Siemens EQ700 with 10 favourites, and if you prefer steaming milk by hand with a bigger tank, the Beko CaffeExperto is the alternative.
